All handlers small, medium and large should walk the course at the start of your grade class.
All classes will be held outside on grass, First Contact Agility Equipment and Taryntimers timing.
Mobile Catering Facilities will be available on the day.

Height Classifications
Height Limit for dogs as per KC Regulations

Large Dogs – For dogs measuring over 43cm at the withers
Medium Dogs – For dogs measuring over 35cm and measuring 43cm or under at the withers
Small Dogs – For dogs measuring 35cm or under at the withers

Class Eligibility

A dog is only eligible for one grade

Grade 1 – Elementary
For owners, handlers or dogs which have not gained a first place in an Agility Class or three first places in Jumping Classes at Kennel Club licensed Agility Shows.
Owners, handlers or dogs previously qualified out of Grade 1 - Elementary are not eligible for this class.
Grade 2 - Starters
Open to dogs which are not eligible for grades 1,3,4,5,6, and 7 and have not gained a first place in an Agility Class or three first places in Jumping Classes at Grade 2 at Kennel Club licensed Agility Shows.
N.B. Owners, handlers or dogs previously qualified out of Grade 2 - Starters are not eligible for this class.
Grade 3 - Graduate
Open to dogs which are not eligible for Grade 1 or 2 at Kennel Club licensed Agility Shows and dogs which are not eligible for Grade 4 5, 6, or 7.
Grade 4 - Novice
Open to dogs which have gained a first place in an Agility Class or three first places in Jumping Classes at Grade 3 at Kennel Club licensed Agility Shows and are not eligible for Grade 3, 5, 6 or 7.
Grade 5 - Intermediate
Open to dogs which have gained a first place in an Agility Class or three first places in Jumping Classes at Grade 4 at Kennel Club licensed Agility Shows and are not eligible for Grade 3, 4, 6 or 7.
Grade 6 - Senior
Open to dogs which have gained a first place in an Agility Class or three first places in Jumping Classes at Grade 5 at Kennel Club licensed Agility Shows and are not eligible for Grade 3, 4, 6 or 7.
Grade 7 - Advanced
Open to dogs that have gained a minimum of 4 first places at Grade 6 at Kennel Club Licensed Agility Shows, 2 first places must be gained in Agility (not jumping) Classes.

  • Rules and Regulations





  • 1.     Classes £3 per dog
  • 2.     No prize money to be given
  • 3.     Entries by post together with SAE please for running orders
  • 4.     The Committee reserves to itself the right to refuse entries.
  • 5.     Only dogs of 18 calendar months of age and over on the day of competition are eligible for competition at Kennel Club licensed Agility Shows.
  • 6.     Not For Competition dogs may attend the show.
  • 7.     No bitch in season is allowed to compete.
  • 8.     No person shall carry out punitive correction or harsh handling of a dog at any time within the boundaries of the Show.
  • 9.     Dogs must not wear any type of slip, half-slip collar or lead when under test. A flat, close fitting, leather or webbing collar is permitted, providing the only attachment is a plain identification panel as an integral part of the collar i.e. not attached by a ring.
  • 10. Should a judge be unable to fulfill the appointment to judge the Committee reserves the right to appoint another judge.
  • 11. No competitor shall impugn the decision of the judge or judges.
  • 12. Kennel Club standard marking regulations apply for all classes.
  • 13. Obstacles will be as specified in KC Regulations.
  • 14. The height limit for dogs in Standard and Special Classes.
  • 15. Large Dog classes - For dogs measuring over 430mm (1ft 5ins) at the withers
  • 16. Medium Dog classes - For dogs measuring over 350mm (1ft 1.75ins) and measuring 430mm (1ft 5ins) or under at the withers
  • 17. Small Dog classes - For dogs measuring 350mm (1ft 1.75ins) or under at the withers
  • 18. Withdrawal of dogs from Competition:
  • 19. A dog shall be withdrawn from competition and removed from the Show if it is: -
  • 20. A bitch that is in season.
  • 21. Suffering from any infectious diseases or contagious disease.
  • 22. Interfering with the safety or chance of winning of an opponent.
  • 23. Of such temperament or so much out of hand as to be a danger to the safety of any person or other animal.
  • 24. Likely to cause suffering to the dog if it continues competing.
  • 25. In the event that the show is cancelled due to unforeseen circumstances, the club/society will refund fees, less reasonably incurred expenses, on receipt of a stamped, addressed envelope submitted within 1 month of the show date.
  • 26. Food shall not be carried in the hand or given to a dog in the ring.
  • 27. Should the judge deem a re-run is required, any result and/or faults gained in the previous run must be discounted.
  • 28. Separate entry forms must be completed by each owner and must be signed by the owner or his authorized agent in accordance with provisions specified thereon. Entry forms must be accompanied by the appropriate fees.
  • 29. Competition of Dogs Suffering from Contagious or Infectious Disease – No dogs suffering from infectious or contagious disease or having been exposed to such disease during the period of 21 days prior to the Competition may compete.
  • 30. It is the competitor’s responsibility to be available for their class and running order. Competitors must run as close to their running order as possible.
  • 31. A pay on the day class will be held if time permits.
  • 32. A practice ring may be available to dogs entered for competition at the show, if space allows. This ring must be supervised by a responsible adult with agility knowledge.
  • 33. Welfare of Dogs - An exhibitor (or competitor) whose dog is entered should take all reasonable steps to ensure the needs of their dog(s) are met, and should not knowingly put their dogs’ health and welfare at risk by any action, default, omission or otherwise.


Directions to the venue

From the West:

Travelling on the A27 past Chichester you will come to the Boxgrove and Tangmere round about take the second exit (straight over) and continue along the A27, a further 1km along the A27 there is a right hand turn which will take you across the on coming traffic. This turning is sign posted to Aldingbourne, take this turning and once safely across the road follow the B2233 Nyton Road. The next turning you will need is the third on the right, Oving Road and is sign posted to Oving. Take the first turning on the left in to Hook Lane. The turn off for the show is on the left a short way down the road and will be clearly sign posted.

From the East:

Travelling on the A27 past Arundel you will need to continue on the A27 past Fontwell. As you travel along the A27 you will need to take a turn off to the left (B2233) that is sign posted to Aldingbourne. Follow the B2233 Nyton Road. The next turning you will need is the third on the right, Oving Road and is sign posted to Oving. Take the first turning on the left in to Hook Lane. The turn off for the show is on the left a short way down the road and will be clearly sign posted.
